Kindle Fire Users to Access Hotmail App

While there is no indication that Google will release a Gmail app for Amazon’s Kindle Fire, Microsoft has made available a free hotmail app for the Amazon AppStore. Microsoft has said that it tweaked the hotmail app to enable Kindle Fire users have an exciting experience that will combine with the capability of the Fire to deliver great user satisfaction.

According Microsoft, the hotmail app for the Kindle Fire is far much better than the native POP3 email client, featuring Exchange Active Sync. This may give it an edge over POP3 email client because the native mail client in the Kindle Fire does not have support for Exchange Active Sync. It therefore means that a dedicated app will definitely offer a much better experience for hotmail users. Analysts have referred to the Kindle Fire as revolutionary, largely due to the large volumes that have been shipped since it was released to the market.
